How can I fix the headphone jack on my RCA Lyra?

How can I fix the headphone jack on my RCA Lyra? Like I have to twist the headphnes and hold the part of the cord that hooks into the jack at an angle to get sound through it. I've tried several different pairs of headphones and they all are the same way. If anyone knows please help.

You would have to disassemble the unit and more than likely resolder the connection tabs back onto the printed circuit board. This is a surface mount device and these types of jacks are subject to tension by the user under normal operations. I have run into this on many portable CD players etc. As a last resort you may have to replace the jack if the tabs are damaged or suspect. This type of jack should be available at Digi-Key Corp. They are on the web and would be happy to help you select the proper jack -- unless you are lucky enough to get through to RCA and find a part number and/or get the part from them!! Good Luck!!
