My Stannah 260 was installed by Stannah through our local Council with Disabled Facilities Grant. This week it has begun halting after couple of metres .. if I turn off at arm, it will move a short way then stop again. What is wrong please?
Stannah quote far too much for us to pay so I cannot use my Stairlift - I am stuck upstairs and my shower room is downstairs - which the Council also paid for. Ironic eh?
Could the ex-Stannah engineer offer advice for us please? Thank you so much

The batteries need replacing, there are 2 of them and can be bought online for under £50.
