I recently purchased a cable controlled side mirror, for my Berlingo Van. I though that cable meant that it would be electric controlled.

Is it possible to take the parts from, the old mirror, and rebuild the new mirror with the internal parts from the old mirror?

If it is possible, how would I be able to do this?
