my double glazed door is closed i cant open it. the lock is knackered i can only work on it from the inside so please help as i am female,i have tried WD40 so i think i need to fit a new barrel. so how do i remove the old one with door closed?

hi val nearly forgot you can take the handles off the door,get a pair of mole grips connect to the lock wiggle about and the lock should break remove your part and look inside move door catch into open position sound technical but its not good luck

hi val,r u sure the lock has had it ? might just be the latch not coming out of the latch keep (the part that holds the latch on the frame). if lock is a euro lock,looks like a tennis racket then you will have get a locksmith to pick it or drill it. the door will have to be open to change the lock, hope you get on ok.
