Ariston dishwasher pump nonstoop + error code AL01?
Our 9-year old Ariston dishwasher shows two malfunctions. I do not know if they are related, so I will present them separately:
1A. About 10 seconds after being switched on, even if no program has been selected yet, the pump begins to operate, but no water is sucked in.
1B. When I switch on a program, the display keeps flashing the remaining minutes and would not stop whatever I do.
1C. Whatever I do in order to stop the pump *shift to another program, reset job via the control panel, or even switch off from the cp(, the punp just would not stop rumbling. The only way to turn it off is by unplugging the dishwasher from the mains.
2. In some instances, after a while I got the error code AL01. *I should mention that this code has incidentally appeared a few times in the last couple of months, but then it could be dealt with by just restarting the job.
Ever since the symptoms descibed at #1 appeared, the erasure of code AL01 is no longer possible at all, unless I unplug the dishwasher from the mains.
