How to find and replace heating element in Hygena dishwasher?

The dishwasher is not heating the water, although it does still complete the full cycle with cold water. I am guessing that it must be the element, how do I remove and replace the element.

Guessing is not the way to fix an appliance. You could end up paying for parts not needed and wasting your money. To do the job properly & efficiently you need a multimeter and know how to use it to test the element and also see if power is getting to the element to make it heat. The problem could be a faulty element, a broken wire so power does not get to the element, a faulty control board or timer or faulty temperature sensor. If you don't even know where the heater is then I would suggest that you get a repair person out to fix it. Could be cheaper in the long run. Even cheaper if you wash by hand.

i would wonder if it is the element. If the machine thinks it is heating water but the heater is broken, the temperature sensor would never register correct heat reached and allow the machine to continue. I would have expected the machine to wait for a period to heat from coldest possibe, plus a bit, then generate an error message if it hadnt reached temperature.

On the other had, if the temperature sensor was faulty and thought the water was hot enough, it would let the machine continue, probably fairly quickly
