Refitting the wires for my Hoover Vortex V3111. How do I dismantle the top?

I have a Hoover Vortex V3111 upright cleaner and the wires are coming loose from the handle. I've tried taking it apart but there seems to be one more screw to undo before it will reveal the wiring and I can't find it?

Can anyone help or maybe someone has a wiring diagram.

Many thanks to the person who kindly placed the answer to my question (hoovereng January 2007). I wish I had seen this before I drove into town with it to ask at a local electrical shop! You will be pleased to learn that it is now all fixed using the instructions at no cost!

Just for the record.... after removing the visible screws from the top section, you need to lift off the switch cover and the one on the other side, using a small flat screwdriver. This will reveal the last two screws. Once removed, fixing or replacing the hose will be the same as fitting a plug.

prise up the power switch button (don't loose the spring) there's a screw underneath, also prise up the small oval shaped cover (1 under there too) the handle can be removed by levering out the small hoover badge on handle front & at handle rear when the tools are removed from handle.
