Fisher & Paykel Ecosmart top loader: On small loads, basket does not descend enough to open gap in top ring for recirculation hose to shoot water into basket. It splashes back, down the inside of the machine and onto the floor. Top ring and recirc tube replaced by authorized repair, to no avail. They weighed basket, and it is WNL. They have been going back and forth with factory service, and they are utterly stumped. Regular loads are fine. (I believe the basket weighing system is out of calibration)
