I cannot change programmes easily using the remote there are new batteries in is it possible to see if setting on remote buttons has inadvertently been press I have no instruction manual so have no idea which button is which except for those constantly used it is a Tevion model no-LCD4701

It's possible the button contacts in your remote have deteriorated you can see if the remote is transmitting of using a phone camera there are YouTube videos that will show you how as for which buttons do what you might be able to find one on the Internet but I doubt there is anything to change the sensitivity to the remote signal or increase its power you might be able to find a generic programmable remote you could try.
