Window Air Conditioner Squeaks in the Wind?

I have a fairly new 6,000 BTU Frigidaire Gallery AC. It works beautifully and is very quiet when it runs. I live on the 6th floor of a NYC apartment building and when it is very windy outside the AC, despite being turned off, makes continuous squeaky noises -- the squeaks seem to coincide with the gusts of wind outside. I cannot see any external damage to the outside casing of the AC. Any clues as to what might be causing these squeaks?

Yes Rkttkmtj I think you are right. I finally got through to Frigidaire customer support and they told me this noise is a "feature" of this air conditioner. They didn't say why this is a "feature" but I agree that there is probably some kind of flap, possibly meant to limit venting between inside and outside air, that is making this noise. I've never seen this problem before and am now sorry I bought this Frigidaire as it seems there is nothing I can do about the noise.

Possibly a flap inside that prevents backdraft is flapping when the wind gusts.
