Hello
I have a Canon S400 8mm film projector which was working when last used (about 5 years ago) but when tried today the motor does not turn the spindle of the take-up reel when trying to load a film. It makes a humming noise, but no action! What could be causing this? Thanks

Motor bearings may be gimmes up with dried up oil. Something like WD40 (carefully and in moderation) might help
