The cord reel on my kenmore canister 116 model has a problem with the electric. When the unit is turned on, I have to unwind or retract the cord a little to get power to start it up. Is the cord reel defective or worn? Can I repair it? I have the reel taken out of the unit. Any help greatly appreciated! Jim
