I have a 10 year old Sagemcom DTR 6400T digital recorder which has just died on me. All the front screen shows are 3 dots. No time showing at all. I've tried re-booting it a couple of times, but sadly nothing happens, and it reverts back to the 3 dots. It appears to have died.

I wondered if it was a dead hard disk but then I saw this:

If you can find a power supply with the right connector and the right voltage rating and at least the same current rating as the old one, try that.
Digital spy forums might be a good place to ask further.
