How do I remove the CD player (for attention showing CD ERROR) so that audio electrician can check it?
Is it dash-out job?

Model of Almera is 1.5S 2003 on 03 plate. CD/Tuner is Clarion version made for Nissan.

hi , did you find out what the problem was? i have a 2000 sport plus and on my cd player the message 'cd error' also comes up.

I have managed to get the tray section out with the hazard warning light and undone the two pozidrive screws holding the CD player fascia but cannot see or figure how to get the lower section out? Are the screws holding the heater controls accessible form the outside of the dash are or are they inside? Bit stumped on this!

yes it is-it has clips on either side of the air vents and screws at the bottom.it comes out with the surround of the radiator controls.if you decide to put new system in,you can buy fascia to fit perfectly.halfords sell for approx £25 but you can find much cheaper on the net.paid a tenner for mine.
