how do i remove the "wooden" trim panel from dishwashers door?

the handle on the door is broken and needs to be replaced However i cannot find a way to remove the door to allow me to do this there do not seem to be any screws involved The panel seems to be held on by some sort of adhesive! The machine is a DIPLOMAT Any ideas?
