I dropped my cd player in the bath and it won't work, what to do???

I dropped my cd player (Sony D-EJ360 CD Walkman) in the bath, and tried to dry it with my towel and hair dryer, and it still won't work. What can I do? Please help!

May i suggest you buy a shower so as to negate this problem happening again?

Sorry, chances are it's fried. If you could *completely* dry it before powering it up it may have had a chance. If it ever happens again put it in a drying cupboard (or in a cupboard with say, a hot water cyclinder, where it'll be nice and warm) and leave it for a few days. If it was powered up before being completely dry it's got little chance of ever working again.

Though by now (late Feb) you may be in luck if it's been sitting idle...... good luck!
