Samsung B1113J Big Wash error Codes?

Purchaced one of these units and 3 months after the minimal 1 year warranty expired it breaks down. At first it displayed error code E3 - Checked filter - no obstructions. Fired it up again fill/drain but no agitation or spin - It then displayed error code EA. Pulled top and noticed "Noise filter" hanging loose from wire harness (originally I thought it was some type of capasitor) - Found nut and washer and reattached to bare cut out on rear upper right corner. Still error code EA even after unplugging unit for 24 hrs. Contacted Samsung (Canada) but support is minimal and they just refer you to some contracted service depot (TransGlobal) Need to know what error code EA means - How to reset or repair and where to get service manual so when this POS breaks down again- Thanks Brett

I have a similar problem... TransGlobal repair guy called Samsung engineer and they say E3 means the machine is overloaded. I get this with a week of underwear and socks for a single guy. It's been getting weaker and weaker the last few months so I just put in one then two then three fewer towels in the heavy loads. Now it will spin but not agitate with any size load.

The problem I get is that it tries to turn in the clean cycle about 6 or 7 times I hear a sort of tinkling sound as it slips then after a few tries it throws the E3 error. Lightening the load had worked until the last load when it wouldn't even spin a shoebox sized load of underwear. TransGlobal says there's nothing they can do and Samsung is blaming me for overloading the washer.

If you happen upon this and are thinking of buying a Samsung machine run! Buy something that people can fix like any of the domestic products such as Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore... Much better support and techs that know what they are doing.

Brushes are available here.
They will not sell brushes for this machine anywhere in NA without purchasing the entire motor assembly at $225.00
1 pair Brushes were $45.00

I found Brett's answer to be probably the solution.
I took out the brushes also and one was completely worn down and the other hardly worn at all.
I will be ordering new brushes but I am not sure as yet that this will correct the problem.
Thanks Brett.

Fixed it myself - Problem is the brushes on the motor. After a while the brushes stick in the housing for the brushes and no longer make contact with the armature(?) To repair remove the brushes from their housing and using very fine sandpaper (600) make one or two passes on each of the four surfaces to make the brush slightly smaller. Reinstall and off you go - problem solved
