Help. I attempted to upgrade the firmware on my 40 Gb Zen Xtra, but now it is stuck in rescue mode and although the usb hub recognises my connection the computer won't. How can i get it working again? I assume it only shows the firmware partition as it shows the disc as 20.0 Mb in size.

This happened to me too and when I found this answer I almost passed out b/c it worked. Turn it on to when the EAX menu comes on. I think I had to take the battery out and put it back in. As the EAX screen comes on smack (and I mean SMACK) the upper right hand corner above the menu button and you should hear the hard drive grind on and it should play fine. Good luck.
