only one of the 3 usb port will work in my computer?

I used to have all 3 of my usb ports working, but for some reason it starts to malfunction and allow me to use only one. I did not see any device conflict in the device manager. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What have you got connected to the USB's? USB ports can only deliver a certain amount of power - hence why you get powered usb hubs. Some motherboards can deliver more power than others, but if you have lots of USB toys (coffee cup warmer/lava lamp etc) then this can pull too much power. They can even cause the USB's to fault completely as a kind of burn out. If this isn't the case, it may just be they're dead. Kick in the ass i know, but with hardware anything's possible...
