To clarify, i want to use one hand set for the TV the Satillite and one for the DVD recorder which is a LVW-5001. I need the code that will let me link the new hand set to the DVD recorder. I have all the others and they work very well. Any help out in the WWW. Liteon are trying but they cannot seem to get me the code. A tad frustrating.

Thank you for the information i will now go to Thompson. The information that came with the hand set had the codes for most DVD recorders but not the Liteon. Liteon have been very helpful in America and i am not getting at them. This is just a tad unfortunate.

Here's some more then. I assume that you have a so-called 'Universal Remote' that you wish to control the Liteon DVD recorder. That is to say a remote that you bought in a shop not the one that came with the Liteon box.

The code for the DVD box is the responsibilty of the universal remote manufacturer NOT Liteon. You did not say the make of the universal remote so I assumed you had an all-in-one and pointed you to their web site.
