How can I fix it? It shuts off everytime. I pluged and unplugged it. It was 50-60 bucks, so I guess not worth it to send out for repair after warranty has expired. Ideas?

We had the same problem.

We just opened the case and looked at it for a minute.
Plugged it back in and it worked!

No Fooling!

Maybe just unplugging it for a few minutes reset the electronics...

So try leaving it unplugged for a while....

If that doesn't work open the case and blow on it / gently move spindle around.
