How can I adjust the thermostat or otherwise fix my 2001 or 2002 model GE side-by-side refrigerator? The fridge keeps getting too cold and freezing the produce and turning the juice to slush, even though I've set the thermostat at its warmest setting.

I have a PCG23MIMHFBB, with NO support or information on the internet. No-one has ever heard of this model neither, so I can't x-ref any parts with other models.

My fridge doesn't make ice properly, the whole freezer turns to ice. Its as if there's no water getting into the freezer.

Also, the water dispenser doesn't dispense water as quick as it used to, 1 pint in 3-5minutes now. I've even checked the pipe lines for blockage, it's clean.

Now, who can help me with this ?

We were sent a form from a law firm stating that there is a class-action lawsuit about GE side-by-side fridges because of chronic thermostat problems.

Buy a new themostat, yours might be bad. It is a easy fix.
