Hoover WDM120 doesn't spin?

My Hoover WDM120 doesn't spin on any spin setting. The motor appears to be working - can I assume that something is wrong with the belt before I start taking it apart?

hi if the belt is on then its a circuit board fault that can be repaired, if the belt is off theres your fault
