My dog chewed threw the wire of my t.v. I have taped my sweeper wire before with eletric tape and it worked will this work with my t.v? It has to be fixed because its sentimental to me. Please help me

For the safety of yourself and your dog, both cables should be replaced completely by a qualified engineer.
Otherwise, after you've electrocuted yourself, your next of kin will be asking the same question.

Power cables should never be taped up. No appliance should be operated in such a condition.
