how do I change a belt model: 116 33720201?

I am having trouble with my Kenmore Bagless vacume cleaner, it picks up but the beeter bar brush doesn't turn. I thik it may need a new belt, but I can't figure out how to get the bottom off to change it, I have no manual to this vacume, other wise I would look it up in it. Donna

Easy one. There are two latches on the top of the base. Use a coin, or flatblade screwdriver and turn them to the unlock position. Then, you can pull the cover off to get to the belt. Need more help or parts? Email is arctic@worldlynx.net
