I have a Soundesign Phono/Tape/Radio set. The cassette won't play. It will rewind/fast forward, but it won't play. If it does play it plays really slow and then eventually stops playing altogether. Could someone please help me fix it?

It sounds like a mechanical fault, not electrical, check the pinch wheel and roller, check the drive belt ( some cassette mech's have 2 belts) also look for any debris and check the brake pads.
It's most likely going to be a slipping drive belt or wheel, but worth checking the rest while you are there.
