How to fix my Whirlpool LXR7144EQ1 Top Load Washer?

My washer is 12 years old and doesn't seem to agitate well so I have to put less clothes in and when the rinse and spin cycle is over there are suds at the top of the load and the clothes seem to have a little bit of soap still in them.

I had the same problem and bought a new agitator cam from partselect.com for about $25 and it even came with instructions. You will obviously need to take apart the agitator to install it. I the only tool I remember needing was a socket wrench with an extension. Good Luck!
