the clutch on my transit rattles on tick over has done for a year but has just got worse i have looked at clutch kits on ebay and all include the flywheel is this what has been rattling i always thought it was the relase bearing is it normal to replace the flywheel as well as the clutch?

the rattle is the fly wheel, these where a problem on the early mk6. i had the same fault on a 2001 transit. the fly wheel is a 2 piece unit
