Hi I am uninsured and my virtually new Indesit W103 got a bit wet in the recent floods.
I have taken off the connections and given them a quick hairdry, and it all seems to work except the programme knob keeps turning round and doesn't stop. I am going to continue to dry it out, but does anyone know if there is a quick fix? (The pump works, the motor has turned etc.)

We had a new machine , and found when we started it up the programme knob kept clicking round , so we returned it to the shop and they gave us a brand new one.Guess what, the same happened again. So, we contacted Indesit Help line . They said,
The machine remembers its last programme it was set to, hence it tries to select it again.So,turn the control to a black dot.Turn off the machine.turn on the machine and select the programme you require.It will of course commence from one of the black dots.
