How can I fix my Apex ADV-3800 combo DVD-VCR?

It will play VCR tapes and sound from DVD's and CD's but it will not display a picture when it is in DVD mode.

THIS WORKED FOR ME. ON THE REMOTE PUSH THE BUTTON MARKED I/P. IT'S ON THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE REMOTE. THAT'S ALL I HAD TO DO. IT ONLY TOOK ME 2 DAYS TO FIND OUT.
