32 bits?

My monitor is too dark to see any thing clearly even when it has been adjusted to 800 by 600 pixels with 32 colour bit.

What am I to do?

The monitor model is Amax VGA Super Colour Monitor with model no. AMM - 1502

Buy a new monitor. Not very helpful i know, but dark monitors are usually a sign of them dying on you. Is it CRT? If so give up on it. If it's flatpanel then it might be the backlight if you can find someone to replace it....
