could be a belt broken, it could be that the pressure switch which senses the water level in the machine,if it thinks there is water in the drum then the machine will not spin, pressure switch has a small pipe connected to it which connects into the bottom of the drum,normally at the back via a plastic container,you need to check that plastic bottle is not blocked exspecilly where it goes into the drum.
