My 10 year old Sony dual cassette player (TC WR445) makes a loud tape transport noise while playing all cassettes. I would imagine there are parts that need to be cleaned or oiled but I don't know where to start. I don't want to pay $100 to Sony repair shop. Any quick fixes, or is this item ready for the junk heap?

this should be a simple job for a tech. not necesary to go to a sony place. i'd say if th heads etc afe good thn its worth fixing
