can someone tell me if i take the paddle for stirring out at anytime or does this stay in the machine all the time while baking

you should leave the paddle in whilst the bread is baking. Once baked the paddle will be in the base of the loaf on removale of loaf from tin, take out the paddle and clean. DON'T do what my wife did and leave the paddle in the end of the loaf then throw out to the birds!!!! very easily done.
