What is causing my hotpoint aquarious to maKE A LOT OF NOISE WHEN SPINNING?

MY hOTPOINT AQUARIOUS WASHER/DRYER MAKES A LOT OF NOISE WHEN SPINNING, JUST AS THOUGH THE LOAD IS UNEVEN, BUT LOAD IS NOT. EVEN WHEN EMPTY IT MAKES THE NOISE. NO PROBLEM WHEN GOINMG THROUGH THE WASH CYCLE, WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS AND HOW DO I FIX IT

hiya i just had to get new machine .my bearings went on my aquarious wm63 but guy said if he fixed it then would only last around 6 to 8 months so i just got new one better in long run i think.

Same here. My Hotpoint Aquarius WM72 is making a hell of a noise when it spins but not during the wash cycle. The machine was at the property I moved into 4 months ago so no idea how old it is. Do I bother getting it repaired if it's the bearings so potentially rather costly, or get rid of it and invest in a new one ??

Just like mine. Suspect the drum bearings need replacing. If you turn the drum by hand you will feel the bad bearings. Big job I'm told. I'm about to find out.
