How can I fix a Homelite XL automatic?

The saw was serviced about 2 years ago and used once right after. There is now no spark at all and a replacement plug has no spark. Where should I start & can anyone tell me how old it may be?Thanks.Dave M.

It may be the kill switch came unpluged. I'd check that
first, then go from there. They were built in the mid to
late 60's I have two, one I use regularly. They were the top saw back then, it's still a good saw.
