My Portable DVD player says LOADING and then NO VALID DISC. Does anyone know what is wrong and where to repair?

Same exact problem with mine. Check out the Venturer.com website for this answer - but use a CD lens cleaner on the tip of a Q-Tip. Clean the lens, wait 30 minutes (to dry) and try a DVD you know works. This worked on mine. Otherwise, it's broken, and out of the warranty period, no doubt. Good luck.
