how to replace the base plate on a fender strat?

i can not get the springs to go back in the same place

firstly loosen off the claw screws slightly, make sure the trem unit is sat on the two fulcrum pegs at the front of the guitar properly then start adding the springs one by one starting in the middle.push in the L shaped end and lever the round end over the claw with a small screwdriver.finaly adjust the claw to obtain the correct amount of backwards movement.
most people tend to only leave 3 springs in and position them from the 2 farthest edges and the middle of the trem.
