Time computer \system 32\hal.dll ,any offers?

I appear to have lost some vital boot up data. Win XP . starts to boot then gives the message that the above is missing ! does not get as far as safe mode.I have not got aTime installation disk! Have i got any options other than scrap ...please model 382MO2GB2C.

try www.driverguide.com someone may be able to help with system drivers.
you may be able to repair with a win xp cd as the hal.dll is a windows file.
