fuzzy sound?

I have a Goodmans Nicam stereo TV about 5 or 6 years old. It is making a fuzzy sound all the time so I have to turn up the volume to try and drown it out, everything else works fine.
Any ideas on how to sort it !!!

Apparently, this can be due to poor earth connections to the field output IC's Heatsink.

Usually this will require removal of the heatsink for thorough cleaning of the connections and resoldering with a sufficiently powerful soldering iron (as it's a heatsink).

Should be repaired by a qualified person but shouldn't cost alot.
