safe mode?

I have a Digilogic DVD/VCR2 Combi that my daughter has changed the safe code on. Is there anyway of bypassing this as she does not know what she has done to change it! It is not the factory set safe code. Thanks

Held the power button on the remote, but didn't work so tried pressing and holding the power button on the machine itself and this time it worked.

Press red power button on remote control, and hold down for five seconds. This should release safe mode.

On my go video dvd vcr combo the safe mode turns off using the "lock" key on the remote. I guess your problem can be solved on the remote only but not sure on this brand.
