How can I fix my Vokera 20/80 R.S. Flowmatic, the water upstairs is cold?

I have my boiler serviced on a regular 12month basis, due next in March. In January I lost the heating and hot water. My regular engineer came to repair it. 30 minutes after he left it went again so I called him back. He got it working again but I noticed the next day that the upstairs water supplies, incl. bath and power shower were only warm and the pressure was quite low. As I could manage I did and after a few days the pressure came back to the shower, but the water is still only lukewarm and not hot enough for a bath. I paid £75 and am worried that I will have to pay again for the same problem, I hate confrontation. Also the water is only hot anywhere when the boiler is on which isn't right. He did alter the water supply whilst here is that anything to do with it.

no hot water from my 20/80 boiler, sometimes when it does work, it takes at least 5 min to produce hot water after the taps are turn on.

help please

The diaphragm that this in the actuator behind the 3 port valve may have a pinhole in it. This will not generate sufficient force to move the 3 port valve properly. get him to fit a repair kit before replacing the expensive 3 port valve

you don't need to be corgi to fix a boiler, only if your working with the gas side of it. which he isn't. i am corgi but alot of them think they are one above every body just cause they do gas.

The problem with the vokera 20/80 lies with the three port valve sticking, this affects the heating or duty hot water, in your case the hot water. if your repair man has only recently been then call him back he's charged you for a repair he has'nt done. Tell him its the Three port mechanical diverter valve sticking. This cuases overheating problems, lack of central heating or duty hot water........

Good luck..

PS. check his CORGI card....
