I have a Sylvania Portable TV, Model C504DD. It has a line cord and a cord that plugs into a cigar lighter in our van and into an input on the TV. I brought the TV into the house, disconnected the 13 V connector, and attempted to plug the line cord into a wall socket. There was a small spark and the TV is now completely dead. The 4 amp, 120V fuse did not blow. The set does not now work either on 120 V AC or 13V DC.
What happened and how can I repair the TV?

i have a my go portable tv thats all i no it comes on i can hear it but i cant see nothing on it.

With respect it would be better left to a tv tech to repair, some people think that it can only be the fuse or a loose wire but tv circuits are complex and highly dangerous to the layman.
