2nd Green Light Flashing on Ariston AFA 350 Dishwasher?

My Ariston dishwasher has just stopped working. When you turn it on it sounds like it wants to work (wurring noise) then the 2nd Green warning light (2nd from left, wash cycle) starts flashing. Has anybody got any ideas or encountered this problem?
