the pilot light is on the pump is runing it wont light up,is it the boiler thermstat

had the same probs with mine pilot was not as bright as usual mine needed a new gas valve got one new and fitted for £120 works fine now

is there 240v going to and from thermostat?
is there power going to gas valve?
Test safely with proper equipment as main voltage kills.
If you cant, then get pro help!
