i have a problem with my rover 414i?

the car cut out on the way home i have replaced the starter and alternator and it still doesnt turn over i have tried bump starting it but nothing do you have any suggestionsthere is alsoa clicking sound on the passenger side when you turn the engine over or attempt to.

u will have to reset the alarm,this is what is causing the clicking noise..u can reset the alarm by getting the key code..this is a 4 digit number that u enter via the door lock(drivers side)it works by entering the first numer the amount of times required clock-wise with the key inserted in the door..ie 4567..4 turns to the right..5 turns to the left....ect..if u dont have the key code u can get it from your local dealer if u take your log book and prove that u r the owner...cheers
