How to get power?

I have a Sont Minidisk NET MD WALKMAN MZ-NE410 MDLP and I can't turn on the power but all the parts are there. What do I do?

The mz-ne410 only uses batteries and has no DC power supply. make sure the battery is good and the contacts inside the battery compartment are not corroded. If both are OK, when you close cover (without pressing any buttons) you should see a disc spinning icon. If you don't there is something else wrong
