The belt keeps slipping to the right side and continuously scrapes the right side. When I slide it back over it only remains for about 10 seconds.

your belt is not tightened evenly. there are two adjustments in the back of the treadmill. probably going to need an allen wrench. both sides need to be adjusted equally.
