i have xp and it will not take tropy bass 2007 some errror intireader. came preloaded so i dont have software for windows to restore like new. still comes up old administarator prior to me getting it. it is used. how can i totally start from scratch and re install everything. please help. its a sotec lap top

This is the desktop box and you have a laptop. ;-)

Next you don't say why the game doesn't install i.e. what error(s) do you get.

However as you mention 'Aministrator' I'm going to guess that XP is telling you that you don't have Adnmisiatrator privilages and so won't let you install the game.

The only real answer is to download the 'Ultimate Boot CD' and change the Adminstatoir password with it. Be careful you can do a lot of damage with the UBCD.
