Just changed syphon and diaphragm and since the change, although flush works and cistern fills properly, the toilet paper swirls around but won't go down. Solids are fine though. Could it be that the ports are clogged under the rim? any other suggestions?
Pls advise asap as it's driving me bonkers!!

If it is close coupled did you change the doughnut between the cistern and the bowl?
